Doodles: The “hybrid” philosophy of the Goldendoodle is explained by a cross. This is a phenomenon in animal breeding where the first cross between two unrelated purebred lines is healthier and grows better than either parent line. The puppies take on the best traits of both breeds.
Goldendoodles:F1's are a cross between a Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle. F1B's is a back cross between a Goldendoodle and a Standard Poodle. Goldendoodles make a terrific family pet. They are affectionate, intelligent and easily trained. Their coats can take after the poodle and be loose curls or they can take after the retriever and have a longer wavy or shaggy appearance. They can also be allergy and asthma friendly.
About us:We have been breeding Goldendoodles since 2005. Originally breeding using Standard Poodles and American Retrievers. Using the American Retrievers we were finding that many of our pups were quite large, so we made a few changes and started breeding with our English Retrievers as they are smaller and maybe a little more stockier, this combination has been giving us a nice medium or small standard cross.
We are small breeder who enjoys and takes pride in our puppies, all of our puppies are raised in our home. Each of our parents are selected for their Genetic health and temperment and as our parents are our pets first and foremost, we only will breed each Mom a limited amount of times before spaying her and letting her live the rest of her carefree days with us or her guardian familty at home.
